About Me

Hello there! I'm Andrea, but my friends call me Andy. I'm originally from Vancouver, Washington but moved to Idaho back in 2004 to attend school at Brigham Young University Idaho. I live in Idaho Falls with my wonderful husband, and two beautiful daughters. I love this area, and how beautiful it's surroundings are. I started taking photography classes back in high school, and continued through college. I have a bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, with minors clustered in dance and PHOTOGRAPHY! I absolutely love the courses I took in photography, while attending college, and they have truly helped me get to where I am today. But the learning doesn't stop there... I'm always eager to gain new knowledge to enhance my hobby, talent, and business. I have a passion for documenting people for who they really are, and capturing lovely moments in their lives. One of my favorite quotes, comes from Aaron Siskind who said, "Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
